Celebrate Christmas, Traditionally

  1. During some holidays, like Easter and Thanksgiving, not everyone in our family gets together at the same time in the same place. At Christmas, however, EVERYONE is there. This year, sadly, may be a different story. One tradition that has developed is that I write a Christmas poem and my mom reads it aloud along with the Christmas story from the Bible.

    1. Thanks, Brandon, for your comment. The family being together is indeed one of the best parts of the holidays, and going to be missed by many this Christmas.
Now that we have married children, we alternate years that we are together. As much as I would like to be selfish (not really) and keep my children and their families to myself, my kids have another family the belong to as well. We’re blessed that they are great families! Someday, maybe all the in-laws can be in the same place to celebrate!

  2. If that shuttle had been on time, I might not have met you. It so nice to meet you and your husband at the airport. A coincidence, inspiration and a delight! I’ve ordered your book and I hope to finish mine some day. Thank you! May all good things come to you! Safe travels!
