Childhood Memories: Toys

  1. Great read, Brenda.
My favorite toy was a cardboard box made to resemble a treasure chest packed full of crayons and coloring books. Loved it!

Close seconds we’re a big, purple tricycle (I still remember the look on my dad’s face as he said, “That one?!?!”,
A bicycle my brothers painted bright yellow and put a banana seat on for me,
And a giant pink poodle my brother’s gave to me.

    Treasures all!

  2. Seems like your favorite toy gets revisited often! And much more so in the future, Lord willing.

Besides a ton of baby dolls (imagine that😁), my favorite “toy” was my pretend horse I rode around my yard. His name was Prince. He was much easier to care for than the real thing!
